The NXplorers Inspiration Awards recognise the amazing work of every student to participate in the NXplorers programme this year, as well as the mentors and facilitators who’ve supported them.
Nominations open on Monday 2 October 2023 and close on Friday 10 November 2023 (11.59 PM GMT). Enter your nomination now:
The live Awards Ceremony, open to all, will take place on 18th January 2024 at 11AM GMT. As well as announcing the awards, we will hear from our inspirational NXplorers students from across the globe.

Awarded to NXplorers student teams who are an inspiring example of how young people can work together to solve real problems.
Awarded to NXplorers student teams that have delivered exceptional projects with potential for impact on their community and society.
Awarded to facilitators and teachers who are a role-model for their students and enable them to embrace complexity and overcome barriers.
Awarded to inspiring (Shell) mentors who go the extra mile to support young people on their NXplorers journey.
Nominating a team or individual is easy:
Go to NXplorers.com
Open the online nomination form using the button on the events page
Select the category in which you want to make a nomination
Describe the person or team's achievement using the text boxes provided
Provide links to relevant evidence to support your nomination
ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE
When nominating a person or team, you need to first make sure to get formal (parental) consent to share any (personal) data and images as relevant to the event (but participants need to be informed that they have option to step out) and retain this as a record
Country programme managers will need to complete ABC due diligence on any shortlisted nominees
Nominations can only be made by NXplorers Shell programme managers and delivery partners
You cannot nominate yourself
The NXplorers Team will select the top 3 (gold, silver or bronze award) based on the criteria for each category
When a nominee is part of the top 3 (gold, silver or bronze award) the nominator will be requested to support the nominee(s) in joining the virtual event
There will be no correspondence about individual nominations
