VIRTUAL AWARDS AND INSPIRATION CEREMONY

The Shell NXplorers Global Inspiration Awards recognise the amazing work of students who participated in the Shell NXplorers programme during 2025, as well as the mentors, teachers and facilitators who have supported them.
Nominations open on Monday, 28 July 2025 and close on Tuesday, 21 October 2025 (11.59 PM GMT). Nominations can only be submitted by Shell NXplorers Programme Leads or delivery partners via the instructions received by email. This year we have added a new Incredible Teacher award and we have also updated the award criteria for the other four awards, so please read the criteria in full before nominating this year.
The live awards ceremony, open to all, will take place in February 2026 (exact date TBC). As well as announcing the awards, we will hear from our inspirational Shell NXplorers students from across the globe, who will be part of our Shell NXplorers Voices of the programme.
Registrations for the awards ceremony will be open later in the year; more details to be revealed.
Awarded to Shell NXplorers student teams who are an inspiring example of how young people can work together to solve real problems.
Awarded to Shell NXplorers students that have delivered exceptional projects with potential for impact on their community and society.
Awarded to facilitators who are a role-model for their students and enable them to embrace complexity and overcome barriers.
Awarded to inspiring (Shell) mentors who go the extra mile to support and inspire young people on their Shell NXplorers journey.
Awarded to incredible teachers that go above and beyond to embed Shell NXplorers thinking into their classrooms and school community.
