Singapore - An impressive 90 secondary school teams across Singapore submitted their solutions to real-world problems using the NXplorers tools and NXthinking. For its inaugural run in Singapore, we worked with Science Centre Singapore, Shell Singapore partner for over four decades, to run a competition open to all secondary schools.
This July five finalist teams proudly showcased their proposal and models to excited crowds of parents, teachers, students and members of the public at Science Centre Singapore. After a nerve-wracking comprehensive appraisal from experts and crowd voting by the general public, the top three winning teams were awarded prizes including all expenses paid study trips to further enrich their STEM interest. The Broadrick Secondary School team came out tops for their solution of providing consistent irrigation for farms, even in times of drought.
